Europe Day - Saint-Trop Night at the Nest

Europe Day was celebrated in true San Tropez style as the European Young Professionals hosted its latest sell-out event at The Nest. Kindly sponsored by the European Union, the 280 attendees heard Mr David Lipman, Ambassador of the European Commission to Thailand, tell the group about the numerous ERASMUS MUNDUS scholarships on offer to Thai Nationals wishing to take Masters Degree programmes in European Universities.

Mr Lipman went on to share his vision of a joint European Chamber of Commerce in Thailand, and the benefits such a body would bring. Invitees were treated to a spread of delicious French cuisine as well as a petanque competition in The Nest's beach area.

'This was such a great event, it's always so good to see so many Europeans together,' said Kay Ellis of Allied Pickfords.
